Access to safe water is a prerequisite to good health. Although in India access to drinking water has improved, the World Bank estimates that 21% of communicable diseases in India are related to unsafe water.

 

BAUSS basically put emphasis on providing clean drinkable water in the villages through installing water hand pumps, water treatment plants etc. Till date, more than 1,000 water hand pumps has been installed which is benefitting more than 8,000 families. We aim to bring reduction in the possibilities of water based diseases like cholera, typhoid, dehydration digestive disorders, skin diseases and dental problems etc. especially among the minors.
